Management Team

Bob Eddy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Bob Eddy is chairman and chief executive officer of the company. Mr. Eddy joined BJ’s in 2007 as senior vice president, finance, was named executive vice president and chief financial officer in 2011 and served as executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer from 2018 to April 2021 when he became president and chief executive officer. Mr. Eddy was appointed chairman in June 2023 and has served as a director since 2021. Prior to joining BJ’s, Mr. Eddy served retail and consumer products companies as a member of the audit and business advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston and San Francisco. Mr. Eddy is a graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts.

Mr. Eddy currently serves as a board member of DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. He also serves as a member of the board of directors and executive committee of the National Retail Federation and the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust. From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Eddy chaired The Financial Executives Council of the National Retail Federation. He is also a member of the college advisory board for Babson College.

Laura Felice, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Laura Felice is executive vice president, chief financial officer of the company. Ms. Felice was named to this position in 2021. Prior to her current role, she served as senior vice president, controller since 2016 and was responsible for the integrity of financial records. Prior to joining BJ’s, since 2008 she worked at Clarks Americas, Inc., a British shoe manufacturer and retailer, in positions of increasing responsibility, including most recently as senior vice president of finance, where she led all aspects of commercial finance for the Americas region distribution channels. Additionally, Ms. Felice worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 2003 to 2008. She is a Certified Public Accountant and serves as a board member, chair-elect and finance committee chair for the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. Ms. Felice also currently serves as a board member of Broadstone Net Lease, LLC, a publicly traded net lease REIT. She holds a Master of Accounting and a bachelor’s degree with a double major in finance and accounting from Boston College.

Paul Cichocki, Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer

Paul Cichocki is executive vice president, chief commercial officer of the company and oversees merchandising, assortment planning and allocation, membership, marketing and analytics. Mr. Cichocki was named to this position in 2021. Mr. Cichocki joined BJ’s in 2020 as executive vice president, membership, analytics and business transformation. Prior to joining BJ’s, Mr. Cichocki was a partner in Bain & Company’s Boston office where he spent more than 20 years serving clients across a range of industries including retail, consumer products, financial services and food and beverage. While at Bain, he advised clients on a variety of strategic and operational issues and specialized in large-scale operational transformations to help companies deliver market-beating results. He led numerous performance improvement projects that have included redesign efforts across sales, marketing and G&A functions. Mr. Cichocki was also a member of Bain’s global operating committee and investment committee. Prior to Bain, he worked as an operating manager at Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo. Cichocki attended Harvard Business School, where he earned a Master of Business Administration with distinction. He is also a graduate from the University of Massachusetts, where he received a bachelor’s degree in operations management with high honors.

Jeff Desroches, Executive Vice President, Chief Operations Officer

Jeff Desroches is executive vice president, chief operations officer of the company. Mr. Desroches was named to this position in 2018 and leads all operations, club team members, regional field staff, asset protection and transportation and logistics at the company’s clubs, distribution centers and fuel stations. Mr. Desroches joined BJ’s in 2001 as regional asset protection manager for the Metro NY market and became the vice president of asset protection in 2007. In 2010, Mr. Desroches was named senior vice president of supply chain. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of supply chain operations including domestic and international transportation, reverse logistics, inventory planning and allocation, vendor compliance, master data and more. Prior to BJ’s, Mr. Desroches held various operational and warehousing roles at Service Merchandise Company, Inc. from 1993 to 2000 and Kmart Corporation from 2000 to 2001. He holds a bachelor’s degree of science in criminal justice and law enforcement administration from American Intercontinental University.

Mark Griffin, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

Mark Griffin is executive vice president, chief human resources officer of the company. Mr. Griffin joined BJ’s in 2018. Prior to joining BJ’s, he worked at CVS Health, a healthcare company and pharmacy retailer, in positions of increasing responsibility, including most recently as senior vice president, corporate human resources. During his 18 year tenure at CVS Health, he was the head of HR for Caremark, a $120B pharmacy company, and also led all aspects of human resources including talent acquisition and executive recruiting, field business partner support, labor relations, employee relations, and HR operations and technology. Prior to CVS Health, he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for FleetBoston Financial. Mr. Griffin holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology from the University of Rhode Island.

Anjana Harve, Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Anjana Harve is executive vice president, chief information officer of the company. Ms. Harve was named to this position in 2023 and is responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the company’s information technology organization. Prior to joining BJ’s, she served as global chief information officer at Fresenius Medical Care, the world’s leading provider of products and services for individuals with renal diseases, where she led information technology, privacy assurance, cyber, digital and data security across key business units. She also held various chief information officer and technology leadership roles at Hill-Rom, Novartis and Shire, along with other senior management positions during her career. Ms. Harve holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from Bangalore University in India and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.

Graham Luce, Executive Vice President, General Counsel

Graham Luce is executive vice president, general counsel of the company. Mr. Luce joined BJ’s in 2015 and provides senior management with strategic advice on company initiatives, complex business transactions and litigation, as well as counsel on all corporate governance-related matters. He also serves as secretary of the company. Prior to joining BJ’s, Mr. Luce worked at Bain & Company, a management consulting firm, from 2000 to 2015 and at Goodwin Procter LLP, a global law firm, from 1995 to 2000. He holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and bachelor’s degrees in political science and electrical engineering from Tufts University.

Tim Morningstar, Executive Vice President, Chief Membership Officer

Tim Morningstar is executive vice president, chief membership officer of the company. In this role, Mr. Morningstar manages the membership acquisition, retention and loyalty functions, as well as the marketing functions at the company. He was named to this position in 2021. Prior to joining BJ’s, Mr. Morningstar was a senior partner in the Boston office of Bain & Company, having been with the firm since 2002. While at Bain, he worked primarily in the consumer packaged goods and retail industries, and also led projects on corporate and private equity mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integrations. Mr. Morningstar earned a Master of Business Administration with honors from Columbia Business School. He holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in government from Harvard University.

Brian Poulliot, Executive Vice President, Enterprise Analytics

Brian Poulliot is executive vice president, enterprise analytics of the company. In this role, Mr. Poulliot is responsible for leading a centralized analytics organization driving all aspects of the company’s retail merchandising and membership marketing initiatives. He joined BJ’s in 2010 as vice president, financial accounting and reporting and has since held multiple senior roles including senior vice president, strategic planning and analysis as well as executive vice president, chief membership officer, prior to being named to his current role in 2020. Before joining BJ’s, Mr. Poulliot held various leadership roles at ThermoFisher Scientific and Fisher Scientific International. Prior to that, he served in the assurance / audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s consumer, industrial products, and retail practice from 1996 to 2004. Mr. Poulliot holds a bachelor’s degree of science in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. He currently serves on the leadership council of his alma mater.

Monica Schwartz, Executive Vice President, Chief Digital Officer

Monica Schwartz is executive vice president, chief digital officer of the company. Ms. Schwartz joined BJ’s as senior vice president, chief digital officer in 2020 and was named to her current role in 2021. Prior to that, Ms. Schwartz was vice president, online merchandising at Home Depot, where she was responsible for leading the company’s online merchandising and category experience across desktop, mobile web and the app. Prior to Home Depot, Ms. Schwartz held various leadership positions at Nine West Holdings, Stuart Weitzman, David Yurman and eBay. She holds a Master of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Miami University.

Rachel Vegas, Executive Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer

Rachael Vegas is executive vice president, chief merchandising officer of the company. Ms. Vegas joined BJ’s in 2021 and is responsible for the strategic direction of thecompany’s merchandising and assortment planning and allocation functions. She brings over 20 years of experience in both grocery and general merchandise. Prior to joining BJ’s, Ms. Vegas was at H-E-B Grocery Company, LP, a Texas-based supermarket chain, where she most recently served as senior vice president, e-commerce merchandising, retail media and financial services and as senior vice president, general merchandise before that. Prior to H-E-B, she was the chief merchant at Brandless, a pure play ecommerce retailer selling food, household, personal care, baby and pet products. She also spent 13 years with Target in a variety of leadership roles. Earlier in her career, Ms. Vegas held merchandising and operational roles at Delhaize Group and Hannaford Supermarkets. Ms. Vegas holds a Master of Business Administration from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Tufts University.

William Werner, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Development

Bill Werner is executive vice president, strategy and development of the company and leads the company’s market expansion and key strategic initiatives. Mr. Werner was named to this position in 2021. Prior to this, he served as senior vice president, strategic planning and investor relations, having been appointed to the role in 2018. Mr. Werner joined the company in 2012 as vice president, accounting and financial reporting. He served as senior vice president, finance from 2013 to 2016, before being appointed senior vice president, strategic planning and analysis in 2016. Prior to joining BJ’s, Mr. Werner was a director in the deals practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston from 2007 to 2012. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.
