BJ's Wholesale Club Teams Up with Salem Red Sox as an Official Partner

BJ's Charitable Foundation donates $10,000 to Feeding America Southwest Virginia to launch partnership with Salem Red Sox

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., April 5, 2018 -- BJ's Wholesale Club today announced a partnership with the Salem Red Sox, an advance Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Soxfor the 2018 baseball season. To celebrate this partnership, the BJ's Charitable Foundation donated $10,000 to Feeding America Southwest Virginia, a local partner of the minor league team, to help provide fresh nutritious foods to Virginia families and individuals in need.

Feeding America Southwest Virginia is focused on the sole mission of ending hunger in the region. The food bank distributes approximately $29 million worth of food and grocery related products annually via a network of more than 350 partner programs. The food bank and its network provide food or meals to those in need across 26 counties and nine cities.
