BJ's Wholesale Club to Accept Tax-Rebate Checks as Payment Chainwide
Members May Cash Checks or Use them as Currency Towards a BJ's Purchase
NATICK, Mass. -- BJ's Wholesale Club will provide Members with the convenience of using their government-issued tax rebate checks at BJ's as payment for purchases beginning July 23rd. BJ's will also cash the checks at the membership service desk free of charge.
From July 23rd through the end of September, BJ's Members may bring the checks to any of BJ's 118 locations in the eastern United States. Members can choose to:
- Use them at the register as currency for purchases
- Cash the checks at the Membership Service Desk - no purchase necessary
To find the nearest BJ's, Members may log on to http://www.bjs.com/ and click on "Locations", or call toll-free at (800) BJS-CLUB.

The Internal Revenue Service will mail the first checks the week of July 23rd, with most of the mailings to be completed by the end of September. For more information, log on to http://www.treas.gov/.
