BJ's Charitable Foundation grants $709,625.00 to 112 Charitable Organizations to Help End Hunger, Improve Education and Self Sufficiency and Support Healthcare
WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Aug. 21, 2013 -- BJ's Charitable Foundation announced the distribution of 112 grants totaling $709,625.00 to nonprofit organizations that focus on the health and well being of children and families located in the communities in which BJ's Wholesale Clubs serve.
All of the nonprofits that have been chosen to receive grants align with the Foundation's focus of providing services in the form of hunger prevention, self-sufficiency, health care or education to those in need who reside in the communities where BJ's Wholesale Clubs are located.

Since its inception in 2005, the BJ's Charitable Foundation has donated nearly $17 million to over 2,000 community organizations. The noted organizations receiving grants from BJ's Charitable Foundation submitted proposals in January, February, March and April of 2013. All recipients are 501(c)3 charitable organizations that support services in the regions where BJ's Wholesale Clubs are located.
